Best 2017 NFL Betting Sites and Season Odds

The wait is over. Football is back. Preseason games are already underway and the first kickoff of the regular season is imminent. Online betting sites have long since published season outrights and win total bets, but now the first game lines of the 2017 NFL season are going up as we speak. Are you ready for some football?

At this early stage, I’ll keep my commentary to a minimum and keep this post on-topic: where to bet on football online in 2017 and where to get the best odds on all manner of wagers.

Finding the best football betting sites for the 2017 season is simple if you know where to look. For the past few seasons, that list has consisted of Bet365, ComeOn.com and William Hill for all of our international readers. In the United States, my favorites are Bovada, BetOnline and Intertops.

Bet365 is my number one pick overall due to having so many betting options, competitive odds, the biggest welcome bonus for new customers and a reputation for fast payouts since Bet365.com hit the internet in 2001. Bet365 just offers the best all-around experience and it’s hard to beat that.

ComeOn and William Hill are also worthy options. In fact, one theme you will notice as we publish NFL content over this upcoming season is to always check with multiple bookmakers before you place any bet in order to get the best odds possible.

The oddsmakers at different betting sites frequently come to different conclusions regarding each team’s likelihood of winning and it will improve your win-rate over the course of the season if you always place your bets at whichever site has the best odds for that outcome.

NFL Week 1 Game Lines

And with that in mind, let’s take a look at the Week 1 lines as offered by each of those afore-mentioned betting sites. Use these tables to see which bookmaker is offering the best odds for your Week 1 selections.

Betting on the 2018 Super Bowl Champions

The biggest question of the year for the majority of us will not be answered until February 4th, the day of Super Bowl LII. As has been tradition for the past few years, the Patriots come in as the favourites to win it all. Other teams looking strong heading into the new season include the Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos.

If this season’s Super Bowl is even half as exciting as the previous, we are in for a treat. Super Bowl 51 was one for the ages in which the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots took the game to the first Super Bowl overtime in history and Tom Brady led his Patriots to the biggest championship comeback in NFL history.

Betting on the Super Bowl this early in the season is always a bit of a gamble with information so limited at this early juncture. Preseason games do not tell the whole story and all we can go by is what we’ve been hearing from the grapevine, how many core players remain in place for each team and how difficult every division looks.

That lack of information is the primary disadvantage to betting on the 2018 Super Bowl right now. However, the upside is you might end up getting much better odds than you would have otherwise if you pick a team that gets off to a hot start. As soon as the oddsmakers and other punters see a few games, the outright betting odds will shift to reflect that new information.

In any case, below you can see two tables comparing the 2018 Super Bowl odds across the best betting sites. The first chart is for all our international readers while the second chart is for all of our American football fans. If you have a certain team in mind, you can use these charts to quickly see which site is offering the best odds for your bet.

Other NFL Futures on Offer

The top football bookmakers already have dozens of season props ranging from who will win the Super Bowl to how many rushing yards Leonard Fournette will total this year. Most betting sites have been kind enough to break up their futures into at least two sections, one for team futures and one for bets on individual players.

The following tables do not compare the odds, but rather serve as a guide so you can find the types of bet you want and do the odds comparison for yourself. As much as I would love to compare the odds between every single bet and every option for each bet across every online bookmaker, doing so would make this post a miserable read for everyone.

What these tables do is simply show which outrights are available where.
