ComeOn.com is a Malta-licensed bookmaker and casino that hit the scene in 2009 and has since grown to become one of the more popular new entrants into the crowded online betting space. A slick interface and frequent promotions make it a popular choice for newbies, but how does ComeOn! stack up against the more established competition? We’ll be taking a look at everything they have on offer in today’s ComeOn review.

Note: Our ComeOn review is based on our own personal opinions. This is not an official promotional review.

First and foremost, ComeOn.com is a sports betting site. They also do a fair bit of business on the casino side, but sports are their bread and butter. As ComeOn pushes its way into the competitive market, new betting promotions are frequent occurrences. One account with ComeOn will grant you access to a sportsbook that covers two dozen sports plus daily live betting events and a casino with some 500 games.

ComeOn! Sportsbook Review

ComeOn.com covers most forms of gambling, but the lion’s share of the betting here happens in the ComeOn sportsbook. With a range of markets that cover everything from football to badminton, there is no lack of options. Every sport has thorough coverage, but the football selection is especially noteworthy as it includes dozens of national and international leagues. ComeOn sportsbook covers more football matches than many of its older, more established competitors.

The complete list of sports at ComeOn includes football, basketball, American football, tennis, baseball, ice hockey, specials (politics and entertainment), handball, rugby league, golf, snooker and pool, F1, darts, cycling, poker, volleyball, boxing, table tennis, winter sports, badminton, rugby union, MMA, cricket and e-sports.

As far the odds go, ComeOn Sportsbook ranks right around the middle of the pack. If you make it a habit of comparing the odds across multiple bookmakers, you’ll notice that ComeOn has the best for some bets and no real competitive advantage for others. Overall, the odds here are good often enough to make it worth adding ComeOn.com to your list of betting sites.

The mechanics of placing a bet here work in the standard fashion; you have a list of sports along the left side of the screen with a list of all open wagers for each sport right in the middle of the screen. Any time you select a bet, a betting slip appears on the right side of your screen so you can see how much you’re risking and how much you stand to win.

ComeOn Live Betting

Live betting is a major strong point of the ComeOn experience. They cover more live events than just about anyone else, with new matches in play all the time. A quick look at the events calendar will show you dozens of today’s scheduled events in a range of sports that includes live football, tennis, darts and others.

One of the more recent new features to come out of the live sportsbook is one that offers even shorter bets. These “flash bets” range from 1-5 minutes in duration and cover all kinds of quick events such as the next throw-in, free kick, corner and so on. These super fast bets are resolved instantly and are constantly updated as the game progresses.

ComeOn.com Horse Racing Betting

ComeOn is not a huge horse racing betting site, but they do offer an effective betting platform for UK, Irish and select international races. New races from the UK and Ireland are added each day and new races are added constantly so there is always something new to bet on or look forward to. International races are updated less frequently, but you can usually find at least a couple of international races running at any given time.

You will also find a large variety of futures options for major horse races and events. Click on the “future racing” tab from inside the main horse racing area and you’ll find a list of all upcoming major races. These include races such as the Irish Gold Cup, Grand National, National Hunt Chase, 1000 Guineas, St. Leger, Cheltenham Festival and many more.

The actual betting interface is simple and easy-to-use, but does not offer much in the way of advanced features such as research tools or daily raing form updates. Selecting an upcoming race brings up that race’s card with each horse listed along with basic information such as the stall number, trainer/jockey, weight, age, previous odds and current odds. Placing a win bet on any single horse is as simple as clicking the odds next to that horse’s name and confirming the bet.

Each race betting card also has a variety of options that you can select to change the types of bets displayed below. For example, you can select forecast/tricast and then that will bring up a grid that makes it easy to pick the horses you want and order them in 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and so on.

One thing ComeOn does better than most horse racing sites is offer multiple match-betting options for most races. In matchup bets, you are presented with pairs of horses and choose the one horse that will finish in a higher place than the other. How the rest of the race turns out does not matter; all that matters is which horse of the two achieves the higher place. Match bets come in handy when you’re particularly interested in one or two horses but do not have as much interest in the rest of the race.

One advantage of horse racing betting at ComeOn is that they have one of the best and easiest-to-use interfaces for placing bets. Some other betting sites complicated the actual process of placing bets unnecessarily and that gets annoying. With ComeOn, it is easy to always see what is going on and which options are available.

Horse races covered at ComeOn also usually offer a “betting without” market that you can use in order to bet on horses in a race excluding the favorite horse. For example, if one horse has been utterly dominant but you don’t want to back that horse due to the poor odds, you can place a “bet without” wager to bet on other horses. In that case, the favorite will be ignored for the purposes of your bet. So, if you bet on Horse B and he comes in second place to the favorite, your horse is treated as the winner and you are paid as if you horse actually won the race.

The biggest disadvantage is that ComeOn does not delve very deep into the world of horse racing. They have all the basic types of bets on offer and cover new races every day in the UK/Ireland, but do not offer as much on the international level and do not offer handicapping tools or advanced betting options. This is a great site for casual horseplayers, but not so much for those looking for something more in-depth.

The NetEnter-powered casino at ComeOn provides more than 500 games of all types. This includes your standard table games (blackjack, roulette, 3 card poker, etc.) as well as slot machines, video slots, progressive jackpot games, video poker and instant scratch cards. Progressive jackpots are numerous and some of these exceed €5 million at the time of this writing. Previous ComeOn jackpots over the last few months have hit nearly €8 million before being won. As of right now, there are six slots with jackpots of €1 million or more. If you’re into jackpot games, you should have no problem finding something suitable here.

The game software is offered via instant play on the ComeOn.com website or by downloading the app for any modern smartphone. There is no option to download the software to your PC, but you’ll find the instant play option gets the job done just as well. NetEnt casinos are known for slick, high quality software and that’s exactly what you get here.

ComeOn Live Dealer Games

ComeOn Casino also has a collection of live dealer games that are dealt over live webcams by human dealers. You can place your bets online with your mouse and keyboard, but then a real dealer goes through the motions of shuffling real cards, tossing a roulette ball into a spinning wheel and so on. In this way, you get the legitimate live experience without leaving home.

The live dealer selection includes multiple tables for each of the following game types: blackjack, roulette, baccarat, casino holdem and three card poker.

Tournaments

Finally, ComeOne is home to at least two slots tournaments each day. Casino tournaments can be very hard to find, so it’s nice to finally have someone to recommend to our tournament oriented readers. Most tournaments at this site are structured with a €1 entry fee and €60 in guaranteed prizes. Take first place and you’ll get €40; take second place and you’ll get €20..
