Sports bettingCzechia — Ministerstvo financí ČR (Czech Ministry of Finance), forBET online CZ s.r.o., IČ 09063315 (company ID; the list publishes no licence number), fbet.cz

fBET is a Czech sports betting brand run by forBET online CZ s.r.o., which appears on the Czech Ministry of Finance list of legal operators for fbet.cz. The brand was called forBET in Czechia until it was renamed fBET in November 2024.

Licence

In Czechia, permits to run gambling are issued by the Ministry of Finance. The ministry's list of legal operators as at 1 October 2026 (read 5 November 2026) names forBET online CZ s.r.o. (IČ 09063315) with the website fbet.cz for two online activities: fixed-odds betting, under a permit that became final on 9 June 2022, and technical games (online casino games), under a permit that became final on 5 July 2023. The list does not publish licence numbers. The IČ is the company's identification number in the Czech business registers, not a licence number. The ministry publishes the list as a spreadsheet; the latest edition (read 5 November 2026) is valid from 1 November 2026.

Who Runs fBET

fBET is run by forBET online CZ s.r.o., a Czech limited company. According to ARES, the Czech register of economic subjects (read 5 November 2026), its registered office is at Holušická 2253/1, Prague (Chodov). The company was created on 30 March 2020 and is entered in the commercial register under file C 330182 at the Municipal Court in Prague. The commercial register data (read 5 November 2026) show that it was first called Farinosa Trade s.r.o. and took its current name in December 2020.

The brand was known as forBET in Czechia. A commercial announcement distributed through ČTK's PROTEXT service on 28 November 2024 (read 5 November 2026) said the company had presented itself as fBET from 26 November 2024. Its headline described the move as going "from an international brand to a purely Czech one".

What You Can Bet On

The same announcement describes fBET as a sports betting operator. It lists live betting and a personal customer service. It also says a partnership with the sports data platform 24live.com puts detailed sports statistics inside the betting app. The ministry list also shows a permit for online casino games at fbet.cz.

How to Bet

fBET takes bets online at fbet.cz. The 2024 announcement also refers to a betting app.

Who Can Open an Account

Czech law does not allow people under 18 to take part in gambling, as the BusinessInfo.cz guide (read 5 November 2026) notes. The Ministry of Finance says online gambling is among the games that require registration and checks on age and identity.

Responsible Gambling

The Ministry of Finance runs the Register of Excluded Persons (Rejstřík vyloučených osob, RVO). Operators may not let anyone on the register take part in gambling. People can ask to be added through the ministry's online forms portal or through their user account with a licensed operator. A self-requested entry (read 5 November 2026) carries a one-year protection period, during which it cannot be removed.

Since 1 July 2024, every Czech operator must also offer a panic button (read 5 November 2026) in the player's account. It adds the player to the register for 48 hours, which bars them from all licensed operators, not just one.
