Betfred runs the second-largest estate of licensed betting shops in Great Britain. The company behind them, Done Brothers (Cash Betting) Limited, is registered at Companies House under number 01277703, active at The Spectrum on Benson Road in Warrington and incorporated on 17 September 1976 — nine years after the 1967 date the brand uses for its first shop. That company holds the shops' own Gambling Commission account, 1058, and publishes the Betfred app on the UK App Store; online betting is licensed separately, to Petfre (Gibraltar) Limited, on account 39544.
The Shops, Counted
The Commission's premises register lists 1,415 betting shops licensed to Done Brothers (Cash Betting) Limited. Only Ladbrokes, at 2,679, has more; William Hill has 1,250, and no other operator passes a thousand.
