BetSafe Sportsbook Review

Sports betting is BetSafe’s core product and it shows with a selection of three dozen sports that include everything from football to trotting. Selecting one sport from the menu brings up a submenu of specific leagues within that sport. For example, the football options include the Champions League, Premier League, Europa League, the World Cup and additional leagues in England, Australia, Asia, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and more.

If you follow the practice of shopping around for the best lines, you will find that BetSafe is right up there with the other major bookmakers of the world in terms of competitiveness. The success they’ve seen in recent years has pushed them well past any need to gouge customers on prices. They don’t have the best odds every time, but they’re usually right in the mix with all the other large bookmakers.

Combination betting is supported for all wager types by default. If you have a few selections and want to combine them, you can add multiple wagers to your betting slip and then click the “combine” link at the top of the slip to combine each wager into one accumulator-style wager. When you combine multiple bets, the website automatically multiplies the odds and offers a much larger payout – but only if every selection you choose is correct.

Live betting is also available for multiple events every day at BetSafe.com. Just to provide a random example, I checked the live sportsbook on a random Wednesday afternoon and was able to find in-play betting in progress for eight football matches, two ice hockey matches, five tennis matches, four basketball games and eight volleyball matches.

There were some complaints a few years back that BetSafe didn’t provide enough in-play betting, but they seem to have stepped up their game since then. The betting interface also provides live scoring and a constant stream of updates for each game.

Individual sports leagues are often home to hundreds of markets. At the time of this review, the sportsbook had 9,365 wagers for football matches alone. The sheer number of options is well above average in comparison to competing bookmakers.

BetSafe Virtual Sports Betting

The Betsafe virtual sports games are above average in terms of graphics and number of markets on offer for each simulated match or season. The virtual sports betting options cover football, tennis, basketball, horse racing and greyhound racing.

Betting options are offered in three categories. First are standard match bets that allow punters to bet on the outcomes of multiple games (fulltime, halftime, handicap and point total) along with match day props (total goals scored, number of home wins, etc.) and season wagers (season winner, top five finisher, etc.)
